About Caleb Smith
For more than a decade, Caleb Smith served as the leading digital communications expert on
Capitol Hill. He is the only person in history to have worked as a political appointee for three
different Speakers of the House: John Boehner, Paul Ryan, and most recently, Kevin McCarthy
as his Head of Communications. Following his career on the Hill, Smith launched Drive Public
Affairs, a digital-first communications firm specializing in creative content, strategic
communications, and precision advertising, where he advises corporations, associations, and
Members of Congress how to look, sound, and be their best online.
Before the invention of the iPhone, Caleb ran political campaigns and managed a motorcycle
dealership. Nowadays, he and his wife, simply manage their two kids, ages 6 and 3.
